Ask an AI to describe a product list. Will it receive only the number of products, or their names too? Calling something a statistical summary does not answer that. LibreDB Studio is a browser-based database tool.
Counts and actual values
In LibreDB Studio 0.17.0, Assess uses counts. The separate Data Profiler AI summary can include SQL columns’ minimum and maximum values, compared as strings. For a product-name column, those can be actual names. This product list is hypothetical.
Execution and disclosure
That version limits Agent-mode query execution to four engines. Plan mode can receive server-read table and column structure without executing the model’s own queries. Connection support, AI execution and information sent to a model have different boundaries.
A changed version
Versions matter too. At the fixed commit checked on October 6, Data Profiler code also masks values in its AI summary where masking settings apply. The older description cannot simply be extended to every current request. It does not mean unmasked values have stopped being sent.
V’s view and read next
We compared public documents and code without installing the tool, testing traffic or establishing a leak. Where a model runs and what it receives remain separate questions. When reading the sources, check execution permissions and transmitted information separately.
